The Diamondbacks are a newly-formed group of adventurers, operating within Loorou. Originally from various far-flung corners of Loorou, they met by chance at Sige's Excellent Alehouse in Cordonis, and since they each had their own plans to go out into the Lands and make their fortunes, they decided to team up in the hope of having greater success as a group. They are currently operating around Cordonis and Mynoar, hoping to make a name for themselves.
Cythera is a young half-orc warlock. She and Twyll have been traveling through the Lands together for a couple of years and they both have some previous experience getting in and out of scrapes. Most recently, they had been working as caravan guards, escorting shipments of ore and finished forge goods between Mynoar and Cordonis, but they found the work to be low-paying and thankless and they had been looking for an escape. Their chance meeting with the rest of the group at Sige's gave them the excuse they were looking for.
They don't know the rest of the group very well, but they've fought together enough to know the two of them make a good team, and will look out for each other.
Deven is a halfling wizard, from the fishing village of Neap, north of Xarth. Being from one of the few halfling families in the loxodon-dominated Neap, Deven has always stood out and his magical knowledge has only given him even more conviction about his being exceptional.
Deven is constantly talking, mind awhirr with ideas. It was he who invited himself to Cythera and Twyll's table at Sige's, he who (after a few mugs, it must be said) suggested to the group that they team up, and he who suggested the name. The rest of the group seem in a constant state of bemused about why they agree to go along with Deven's madcap ideas but to him, this seems only logical. He's always had the best ideas. It's not his fault they sometimes go wrong. Okay, a lot of the time.
Lars is a tiefling rogue. He stays to the shadows, and doesn't speak except when absolutely necessary. He carries his knives obviously
